Fermata Founder, Valeria Kogan Inducted into Forbes 30 Under 30

Fermata Founder and CEO Valeria Kogan has been honoured with being selected as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for 2022!

Forbes’ 30 Under 30 is an annual list compiled by the prestigious and respected business magazine, recognising individuals by industries across Africa, Asia and America. With only 300 selected overall for the region, and ten from the relevant industry, Valeria’s selection by Forbes recognises the innovative inception of an AI-based Agtech company, facilitating the efficient harvesting of crops with technology.

After completing her BSc and MSc in applied maths and PhD in bioinformatics, Valeria started her career as a researcher in the lab, in AI teams at Biotech startups. She would eventually go on to co-found an AI-based platform to assist oncologists in diagnosis of severe cancer patients. Her previous experience, knowledge of AI and effective business implementation, is an asset to Fermata and to the world.
